Statistics & Query Optimization

Statistics play a definite role in what query plan is eventually selected by the optimizer, and in this video we try to give you an intro to how that works. Remember that stats are just one part of the puzzle!

Bookmark Lookups aren't necessarily a good thing. You will be surprised how using an INCLUDE in your indexes will help eliminate these expensive operations and speed up your queries dramatically.
