Way too basic.

Steve Harris on 10/29/2008
Extremely basic and short. Feel that average video should be about 5-6 minutes. Feel that more information should have been covered.

Too simplistic.

Jason Wall on 10/29/2008
Pretty basic, but well done. I can imagine this would perhaps help a junior DBA.

Dirk Schoeters on 10/30/2008
It's usefull for the absolute beginner

Nalasi Mendy on 11/2/2008
It was concise and to the point

In this video, you mentioned about "How to Stop Auto-Scroll". Once you enabled that option the SCROLL was off, you should have spoken about it again to ensure what you said works :)

liked the hint about turning off auto scroll

Kichoo on 1/4/2009
Very Basic

Venkata Taduri on 2/24/2009
Stop scroll is too good. I used to pause all the time for the same purpose.

Tonci on 9/21/2009
Simple and good. Thank you.

Tomislav Lebar on 10/3/2009
Good introduction on how to a start/run a Profiler trace. Since the demo is only about 2 minutes long, I didn't expect more than a very brief introduction to the topic.

Kristeen Sellers on 4/22/2010
Very basic

Larry on 4/22/2010
It didn't go into quite enough depth for me. Adding some information about events and columns and how to limit the amount of data coming through makes Profiler a lot easier to use.

Mark Cioffi on 4/22/2010
Nice! Clear, concise and to the point instruction. Thank you Mark mrkcioffi@comcas.net Business Intelligence developer

Stephanie Brown on 4/22/2010
Good to see how to start one, but why would I want to do that? I'm sure Jack's next video will expand on this; can't wait to see it.

Bruce Bealer on 4/22/2010
The video window needs to be bigger

John O'Sullivan on 4/22/2010
a good introduction

a good introduction

Very good for a beginner who doesn't know how to use a profiler

david on 4/23/2010
as you all said - nice and simple. Maybe you should add something more... How to filter trace on a database, how to filter trace on sql statements etc.

chendhil on 4/23/2010
Good

er on 4/25/2010
This is useful ...

Charlie Bruno on 4/27/2010
good basic training video...nice job.

Jack Corbett on 4/28/2010
Thanks for all the comments and sorry I haven't kept up. For those who are interested in more check out the rest of the profiler series. I believe that there are 13 in all and each one deals with a specific part of profiler.

Excellent.
