Connecting to SQL Azure Using Various Tools
So far we've built a database on Azure and set the firewall rules, how you manage it remotely? Andy demonstrates connecting using SQL 2008 R2 Management Studio and SQLCmd, then changes to Visual Studio 2010 and shows how that works as well. Note the use of SQLCmd - little trick there in the user name, and while the password can be specified in the command line, Andy did not so that he could enter the password with you seeing it!
